Privacy policy

Shoplytics is designed so your shopping data stays with you.

For the current India-first rollout, Shoplytics works as a local-first Chrome extension. The core rule is simple: all data stays on your device. The extension is built to be useful without creating an account or sending order data to external servers.

What Shoplytics processes

  • Order history and related purchase details from supported platforms after the user triggers a fetch.
  • Derived analytics such as total spend, order count, average order value, and timing patterns.
  • Exported CSV data only when the user chooses to export.

What Shoplytics does not do

  • It does not require a Shoplytics account to view the core analytics flow.
  • It does not upload shopping data to external servers or cloud storage as part of the current product model.
  • It does not rely on third-party analytics just to make the core product useful.

Third-party platforms

Shoplytics reads data from supported user sessions on platforms such as Amazon India, Blinkit, and Zepto after the user initiates the fetch. Those platforms operate independently from Shoplytics and have their own privacy policies and account systems.

Shoplytics is not affiliated with Amazon, Blinkit, or Zepto. The extension exists to help users understand their own shopping history across those platforms.

Policy updates

If the product’s data flow changes in a material way, this policy should be updated before that change is presented as a live feature. Material changes include account systems, remote storage, or new categories of collected information.
